Students learn real code through fun projects where they make games.

All games are created using the Java programming language, one of the most popular programming languages in the world.

PRE-REQUISITES :

  • No prior experience in coding is required. This is a beginner's course on the basics of Java programming

  • Students must have a Windows computer or a Mac ( the code editor will not work on a Chromebook or tablet )

    OBJECTIVES : 

  • The course covers important programming concepts, including classes & objects, data types, conditional statements, and iteration.

  • Students would be taught to identify variables, data types, classes, and constructors

  • They will learn to tackle programming challenges with logic and code skills

Our lessons focus on teaching students how to learn. They start by showing students step by step, and then guide them towards independent thinking. They don’t just learn computer programming, they also learn problem solving and how to think like a programmer.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES : 

By the end of the course, students will 

  • Have basic proficiency in writing code according to object-oriented principles

  • Understand the syntax of Java

  • Be able to apply game design practices
